Returns/Exchanges

Returns: 

Our policy lasts 7 days starting the day you receive the item. If 7 days have gone by since you've received the purchase we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable): 
Books with obvious signs of use. 
Any item not in its original condition that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. 
Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.

Shipping a Return: 
Upon contacting us about the return you have 14 days for it to arrive back to us. To return your product, you should mail your product to: 100 Riveredge Drive, Dallas, Texas US 75207

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds (if applicable): 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable): 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at uncommonmktinc@sbcglobal.net.

Sale items (if applicable): 
Only regular priced items may be refunded.  Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable): 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at uncommonmktinc@sbcglobal.net and send your item to: 100 Riveredge Drive, Dallas, Texas US 75207.

Gifts: 
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

 

Shipping

Shipping Time:

We will process and ship your order within 2-5 business days of receipt. If you place your order before 10 AM on a business day it’s likely to go out that same day.  Orders placed on Friday won’t go out until Monday. A tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships. This tracking number will allow you to check on the delivery status of your order.

 

Shipping Address Preference:

Please make sure your shipping address is correct.  Make sure to check if your billing address is different.  We cannot be responsible for orders that are undeliverable.  If an order comes back undeliverable we will process it as a return. 

 

Shipping Rates: 

Uncommon Market offers 2 kinds of shipping:

Priority Mail

 UPS/Fedex

Select a shipping option to view the estimated delivery window for your item. Most items will ship via USPS unless noted.

 

Oversized Items: 

Any item that has a contact us button is not shippable through USPS. Contact us with your shipping address and we can give you a shipping quote.  Items like this will ship either UPS/Fedex or through freight.  If you have a company you’d like to use let us know.  We will gladly work with you.  

 

Shipping and Delivery Information on Oversized Items:

1-10 days is the time it takes for the item to be packaged and ready to ship.

Delivery can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks depending on where your shipping address is based.

Whenever we are able to accommodate a delivery of oversized items to a remote or isolated area not commonly serviced by freight carriers, delivery may take an additional 1-2 weeks and additional delivery fees may apply.

All oversized items ship with Threshold Delivery Service*.

The Threshold Delivery Service includes delivery beyond the main entrance of your business or residence, but not to a specific room. This service does not include removal of packaging, assembly or setup of your item(s). 

 

White Glove Delivery Service:

If you live within 60 miles of our store location we can offer white glove delivery.  Shipping time can vary depending on location and time constraints.  Please message us for more information.
